After Action Reports,
Maadi-Griffin .50 Cal Promotion,
July 4th in Jarbidge, Nevada
June 28, 2000 (Boise, Idaho) The 50 Million Round March [www.50mrmarch.com]
announced today an initiative to raise significant funds for various second
amendment activities. The initiative will involve the creation and sale of
an "After Action Report" for each 50 Million Round March event which will
include a full color cover of the logo from the respective event, an
introduction and mission statement, full color pictures of participants from
around the nation (from the 50 Million Round Photo Gallery provided by
Sierra Time [www.sierratimes.com])
and verbal testimonials from around the
nation.
In support of this initiative, the Maadi-Griffin Company
[www.maadigriffin.com] has announced the contribution of a Model 89, all
stainless steel, .50 cal BMG rifle to help promote these "After Action
Reports". Customers will be eligible, at their sole discretion, to enter a
free contest for this rifle, which will also include a Harris bi-pod, a hard
carrying case and a Springfield Generation Two 4-14X56 Range Finder Scope.
The Springfield Scope is being donated by Frozen Dog Ridge Firearms of
Emmett, Idaho.
In commenting on these developments, Jeff Head, the principle organizer of
the 50 Million Round March said,
"We want to provide a high quality product to those who participate in these
events which they can use to commemorate their involvement in this effort to
retain our 2nd amendment rights. We also want to provide something that can
help raise funds to support many ongoing 2nd amendment organizations and
activities across this nation."
Bob Stewart, of Maadi-Griffin, in commenting on the endorsement of, and
contribution to, the 50 Million Round March, said,
"We at Maadi-Griffin endorse the 50 Million Round March and are contributing
to it because it is focused on getting people active in supporting and
defending one of their most important and cherished rights, as enumerated in
the 2nd amendment. Those rights are under constant assault and as a result,
multitudes of laws, taxes, regulations and administrative rulings directed
at law-abiding citizens are causing our Constitution to hang by a mere
thread. A grassroots effort of massive proportions is called for to buoy up
the Constitution and bear it to safety. At Maadi-Griffin, we view the 50
Million Round March as a significant step in that direction."
Mr. Head also announced today his intention to participate in the July 4th 50
Million Round March event in Elko, Nevada so that he can attend the Shovel
Brigade's [www.stopfedlandgrab]
demonstration regarding the Jarbidge Road in
Northern Nevada. In commenting on this, Mr. Head indicated,
"It is incomprehensible to me, that the Federal Government would reach into
the lives of the common people in Elko County and shut down one of their
county roads. It is incomprehensible that the elected county commissioners
of this area are being rendered powerless to reopen and maintain a road that
has been recognized as a county road in this area for upwards of one hundred
years. The "Shovel Brigade" event at Jarbidge to reopen this road, and to
garner the support of thousands of Americans to assist, is truly a modern
day "Boston Tea Party". In my mind, it embodies the spirit and commitment of
the founders of this nation when they faced similar usurpations in their own
day."
July 4th will be the second in a series of five 50 Million Round March
events targeted at energizing the gun owner community to political action in
defense and support of their 2nd amendment rights. Each of these events will
be held on an annual basis. The effort has been endorsed by over 160
different web sites, organizations and institutions, and is being carried
out at private and public gun ranges around the country.
Please note: Organizers of the Fifty Million Round March event are
scheduling talk radio interviews for July. Any interested parties are
requested to direct inquiries to Joanie Fischer 50mrmarch-joanie@bigfoot.com

Father's Day Event a Great Success
More Endorsements
Photo Gallery up and on-line
June 21, 2000 (Boise, Idaho) The "second installment" of the Fifty Million Round
March is scheduled to be held at public and private gun ranges across America on July 4th.
If the success of the first March, which took place on Father's Day, is any indication,
July 4th, 2000 should prove to be a lot noisier, and even more fraught with significance,
than it has been in the past.
A little over one month after announcing intentions to hold several annual events to
energize gun owners across America to political action in defense of their Second
Amendment rights, the kick-off Father's Day Fifty Million Round event was a great success.
At private and public gun ranges all over the nation, gun owners safely and responsibly
shot their weapons and then wrote letters to their elected representatives insisting that
those officials cease passing legislation which infringes on the Second Amendment.
As a result, excitement and testimonials have been pouring into the Fifty Million Round
March website [www.50mrmarch.com]
in the form of hundreds of e-mails attesting to the simple power and virtue of this
effort. A few comments from some of those e-mails are included here:
"The 50 million round march was a huge success today at the Rockville Fish and Game
Club in Tolland." (CT)
"We had a great time, ... and added over 400 rounds to the cause. My letters will be
going out on Monday." (NY)
"All of the shooters we talked to were VERY enthusiastic, and were glad of the chance
to DO SOMETHING." (PA)
"My wife and I and my oldest daughter contributed about 250 rounds. Our letters will
go to Our representatives this week." (VA)
"Thanks to all who conceived of this, and put it together. It was a great
opportunity. " (MD)
"The brass is ankle deep in places down there on the end. I'm in friggin
heaven!" (AZ)
"Thanx, for a truly inspirational idea and the beginning of what is sure to become a
gun owners tradition." (IL)
"The 50 million round march here was a success ... those to the west, that is blue
smoke from the cannon that went off at 2 PM" (MI).
"We put 30,000 rounds down range. ... thanks SO much to the organizers for getting
this going. ... It needs to sweep the nation!" (MO)
"YES, it certainly did feel good. Thanks, for the great idea." (TX)
"My two sons, 11 & 7, fired 50 rounds of 9mm and 50 rounds of .22 cal. at targets
downloaded from your web site. Great idea!!!" (OK)
"We did our part, here in NE Wyoming. There's gunsmoke in great clouds!" (WY)
"I estimate that we had shot about 1500 rounds for the day. Looking forward to the
fourth of July!" (MT)
"I enjoyed myself to the tune of 300 rounds at 300-450 yards at 8" iron plates.
Bang the gong, indeed." (ID)
"The rangemaster thought that it was such a good cause that he couldn't take any
money. I will mail out my letters this week." (CA)
"Great Idea, My wife, Kids and I sent 400 rounds down range. HooRahh" (OR)
"We sent 500 rounds downrange today in honor of this occasion. Happy Father's Day to
all fathers and their children." (SC)
"Met Shadow Demon, who was wise enough to bring several 50 MRM targets. They went
like hotcakes" (KY)
"Not a bad way to spend a morning and ... make two new friends. They thought the 50
Million round idea was a great one." (TN)

and click on the "Testimonials" option.
As the effort has proven successful, more endorsements continue to come in. More than 125
web sites, business and organizations have now endorsed the Fifty Million Round March, and
that number is growing daily.
Recently, Don Bell, candidate for Congress in Kentucky [www.bellforcongress.com] endorsed
the event. Don, who attended one of the events on Father's Day, had this to say with
respect to the Fifty Million Round March,
"My son, Brian and I celebrated Father's Day by participating in the Fifty Million
Round shoot on June 18, at the Knob Creek Range at West Point, KY. We wanted to show our
support for the Second Amendment and Bill of Rights. We, as freedom loving citizens, must
do more to stop our constitution rights from continuing to be taken away from us. I am a
firm believer in preserving our Bill of Rights."
The Citizen's of America [www.citizensofamerica.org], a no compromise Second Amendment
organization which is placing radio, newspaper and television ads in media outlets around
the nation in support of the Second Amendment, has also endorsed the Fifty Million Round
March. Brian Puckett, president of COA, in endorsing the effort indicated,
"The Second Amendment recognizes our fundamental right of self-defense, and our
fundamental political right to resist a tyrannical government. The Fifty Million Round
March is a step in the right direction, a reminder that we will stand up like free men and
reassert our rights with direct action ..."
Tom Farrenkopf, President of OughtSix Wear, who is providing T-Shirts for the various
Fifty Million Round March events, in endorsing the effort said this:
"A patriotic resolve draws me to support the Fifty Million Round March. Can one
consider it a sacred duty? History has proven less significant events to have been. The
Fifty Million Round March provides fathers the opportunity to place before his children's
hearts and minds the long train of patriots starting with our founding fathers, that
continues unbroken to this very day with men the likes of Michael New.
Participating in these events will provide our representatives with this appropriate
message: that we are no strangers to the meaning of our founders concerning the limits
placed on our elected public servants, and, that responsible firearm owners belong to the
loyal band of our country's true defenders."
T-shirts for the Independence Day event are now available at the Fifty Million Round March
website.
Finally, J.J. Johnson's Sierra Times [www.sierratimes.com],
a major endorser of the Fifty Million Round March effort, has created the "Fifty
Million Round March Photo Gallery" and placed it on-line. Any participant can either
mail, e-mail, or electronically upload their photographs of the event to this Gallery by
either clicking on the "Upload Photo" option at the Fifty Million Round March
website [www.50mrmarch.com], or by
going directly to Sierra Time's upload page [http://www.sierratimes.com/gallery.htm].
To view the pictures, either click on the option to "View Photos" at the Fifty
Million Round March website, or go directly to the gallery at Sierra Times [http://www.sierratimes.com/50mrphotos.htm].

Harry Browne (Libertarian Party Presidential Candidate) and Bloomfield Press Endorsements
June 12, 2000 (Boise, Idaho) Harry Browne, Libertarian candidate for President [www.harrybrowne.com], has endorsed
the 50 Million Round March [www.50mrmarch.com]. In commenting on the current state of 2nd
amendment rights in America and the 50 Million Round March, Mr. Browne said,
"Honest Americans will continue to be at a disadvantage to armed criminals until the
current 20,000 gun laws are repealed. None of these laws stops violent crime; all of them
intrude into our privacy and our ability to defend ourselves. Thus I wish the 50 Million
Round March well. "
Alan Korwin, author of "Gun Laws in America," [www.gunlaws.com], and founder of Bloomfield Press (the largest
publisher of gun law books in the country), who has been following the march preparations,
made the following comments regarding the Fifty Million Round March and its prospects,
"They're going to try to fire off fifty million rounds of ammunition at training
ranges across America on Sunday, and I'll bet they do it. The mainstream media has been
silent about it, but men everywhere seem to be looking forward to it. It's simple and
elegant -- a wholesome family outing in support of the Bill of Rights."
On Father's Day, June 18th, and at other times throughout the year, Fathers and their
families, friends and neighbors will gather at gun ranges all over the country to shoot
simultaneously over fifty million rounds as a demonstration of their determination to
preserve their second amendment rights. At the events, they will write letters to their
elected representatives charging them to not infringe upon those rights.
In addition to the March itself, through a collaboration with J.J. Johnson and his Sierra
Times [www.sierratimes.com], a
"Fifty Million Round Photo Gallery" of pictures of fathers, their families, and
their children exercising their Second Amendment rights at the various Fifty Million Round
March events will be made available on-line. Speaking of the planned Fifty Million Round
Photo Gallery, Johnson says,
"The goal of this collaboration is to gather one hundred thousand fathers and their
children and families on Father's day at the gun range, and to compile an historic record
of their commitment to their inherently American right to bear arms, as well as the
American gun owners' ongoing commitment to safe and responsible gun handling."
In a further development, the Fifty Million Round March also has announced an agreement
with OughtSix Wear [www.oughtsix.com]
to produce T-shirts and other articles for the Fifty Million Round March events. The
T-shirts are available for on-line ordering now at both the Ought Six and the 50 Million
Round March web sites.

50 Million Round March
JPFO (Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership) Endorsement,
Collaboration with KeepAndBearArms.com
June 6, 2000 (Boise, Idaho) Aaron Zelman, Executive Director of the Jews for the
Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) [www.jpfo.org]
announced today his organization's strong endorsement of the 50 Million Round March [www.50mrmarch.com], a grassroots
effort to energize gun owners across the nation in support of their 2nd amendment rights.
In commenting on this effort, Zelman said, "At this point in American history, the 50
Million Round March is the right idea at the right time. This effort is a very sound but
simple idea to send a direct message to all of those who despise liberty. May any such
individuals hear the volleys at the firing ranges and quake in their jack-boots."
Another respected 2nd amendment organization, the Second Amendment Sisters (SAS) [www.sas-aim.org], who held a number of
well attended 2nd amendment rallies around the nation on Mother's Day, May 14, 2000, has
also endorsed the 50 Million Round March. The management of SAS released the following
statement regarding their unqualified endorsement of this effort:
"We are pleased to support the idea of fathers and their children coming together to
enjoy a family holiday by participating in a shared interest, and what for many is an
honored tradition that has been passed through the generations. These are the families who
have wrongly had the burden of the so-called "violence epidemic" placed on their
shoulders. On the contrary; it is they who are taking the time to supervise their children
in the safe handling of firearms, and to teach them both the physical and moral
consequences of abuse and carelessness. They are a shining example of the value of a
caring, attentive parent, and we should all take a lesson from them."
The continued collaboration between the 50 Million Round March and J.J. Johnson's Sierra
Times [www.sierratimes.com] on
the compilation of a "Fifty Million Round Photo Gallery" of fathers, their
families, and their children exercising their Second Amendment rights at the various Fifty
Million Round March events continues to garner enthusiastic support. The goal of this
collaboration is to gather one hundred thousand fathers and their children and families on
Father's day at the gun range, and to compile an historic record of their commitment to
their inherently American right to bear arms, as well as the American gun owners' ongoing
commitment to safe and responsible gun handling.
In a further development, the 50 Million Round March also has announced today a
collaboration with KeepAndBearArms.com (KABA) [www.keepandbeararms.com], one of the foremost Gun Rights sites on the
Internet. In this collaboration, KABA will provide all graphic art for future 50 Million
Round March events on July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day and President's Day. Each
of these provided graphics will, in turn, displays a credit to KeepAndBearArms.com.
In collaborating with and endorsing the 50 Million Round March, Angel Shamaya, Executive
Director, KeepAndBearArms.com, said, "The 50 Million Round March has been a long time
coming. After decades of freedom-choking gun legislation and immoral demonization, gun
owners are making a social and political statement, the essence of which is: 'Aim
somewhere else; we're the good guys, American gun owners refuse to be disarmed and put in
a position to be victimized'. This is a strong and timely message, particularly when
delivered 50 Million Rounds at a time. KeepAndBearArms.com fully endorses this message and
the 50 Million Round March effort which is producing it."
Jeff Head [jeffhead@50mrmarch.com], a
principle organizer of the 50 Million Round March, in commenting on today's announcements,
said the following, "I am honored and humbled by the continued growth and endorsement
of this simple idea to energize and capture the imagination of the every day gun owners in
this nation. If any appreciable percentage of those 80+ million Americans get involved,
and it is our hope and prayer that they will get involved, then the debate on this issue
will be over. Thanks so much to Aaron, SAS and Angel for your involvement on behalf of
this foundational right we enjoy as Americans, and for your endorsement and support of the
50 Million Round March".
[Please note: Organizers of the 50 Million Round March event are scheduling talk radio
interviews for the rest of June and July at this time. Any interested parties are

Fifty Million Round March Endorsements and the Fifty Million Round Photo Gallery Announced
May 27, 2000 (Boise, Idaho) The Fifty Million Round March [www.50mrmarch.com], a
grassroots effort to energize the gun owners of America to take part, on a direct and
individual basis, in influencing their elected representatives regarding the need to
preserve their Second Amendment rights continues to gain momentum. Several notable
individuals and organizations have endorsed the effort and are working together to make
the first event, to be held on Father's Day, June 18th, a great success.
Fathers and their families, friends and neighbors will be gathering at gun ranges all over
this nation to shoot simultaneously over fifty million rounds as a demonstration of their
determination to preserve their Second Amendment rights. They will then write letters to
their elected representatives directly charging them to not infringe upon those rights.
In support of this effort, J. J. Johnson, a well-known writer, speaker, and defender of
the Second Amendment said that this effort, "asks not for us to travel to Washington,
but to stay home. Not to cower under the pressure of 'political correctness,' but to stand
and be counted. We here at the Sierra Times (an internet publication, of which Mr. Johnson
is editor-in-chief) stand in proud support of this effort, as well as of those who will
join in this -- the ultimate statement to Washington by the Real Men of America..."
L. Neil Smith, another well known and respected Second Amendment activist and writer, had
these comments about the effort, "The Fifty Million Round March is an important,
ongoing effort to preserve and expand the unalienable individual, civil, Constitutional,
and human right of every man, woman, and responsible child to obtain, own, and carry,
openly or concealed, any weapon -- rifle, shotgun, handgun, machinegun, anything -- any
time, any place, without asking anyone's permission. It also represents an unignorable
means of communication to those who previously would not hear us and who mistakenly
believe they own us. Let them now learn differently."
Gary Fleetwood, an Executive Director from the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia
[www.ssaa.org.au], whose group endorses the Fifty Million Round March in America, added
his unique perspective when he stated, "Australian firearm owners have experienced
the swift and savage consequences of firearm legislation which was implemented because of
political expediency. I urge you to participate in this activity to indicate to
politicians that law abiding firearm owners in the United States are unified and will deal
swiftly at the ballot box with those who support the same draconian gun legislation as
seen in Australia. The same legislation that is being promoted in the United States by
individuals without roots who prostitute themselves for a social agenda."
In addition, two major activist groups, The Second Amendment Sisters [www.sas-aim.org],
and The Tyranny Response Team [www.TRTeam.com], have also declared themselves as endorsing
organizations of this new Second Amendment preservation effort.
In a further, major development Sierra Times [www.sierratimes.com] has announced plans to
create an on-line "Fifty Million Round Photo Gallery" of fathers, their
families, and their children exercising their Second Amendment rights at the various Fifty
Million Round March events.
J. J. Johnson, Editor-in-Chief of Sierra Times, indicates that, "The goal of Sierra
Times in support of the Fifty Million Round March: 100,000 fathers and their children
together on Father's day at the gun range. An Internet Gallery of Armed Americans -- and
their children. A message Washington will never forget -- and can't ignore."
Jeff Head, an organizer of the Fifty Million Round March, adds, "The Fifty Million
Round March fully supports Sierra Times in creating an on-line storage medium of pictures
of fathers and their children ... families and their children, exercising their Second
Amendment rights together. This will send a most powerful message, a message not only to
the politicians of today, but equally important, a message to the upcoming generation in
America about a great hallmark of their liberty and how it is to be preserved."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DATE (Boise, Idaho ) -- May 23, 10 PM -- A campaign of annual events in support of the
2nd amendment has been planned by the "50 Million Round March" beginning this
Father's Day, June 18, 2000. Follow-on, annual events are now being planned for
Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day and Presidents' Day.
These events will demonstrate to elected officials the resolve and the numbers of
those individuals committed to retaining their second amendment rights, and will send a
continual message to them to cease enacting laws which infringe on this right for law
abiding citizens.
Fathers, their families, friends and neighbors will get together at shooting ranges
all over the nation and simultaneously fire over 50 million shots, or "rounds",
at each event as a statement in support of the right to keep and bear arms for all law
abiding citizens. "Range monitors" will be in place at each event to insure that
proper firearm safety is observed.
Each event, in addition to target shooting, will include a letter writing campaign
directed at congressional representatives, senators, governors and the President informing
them of the participants' attendance and their insistence that infringements on this
constitutional right cease. As a memento of the event, the participants will include
either one of their used targets with their letters, or two spent cartridges in a mailer
box with their letters.
One of the organizers, Jeff Head from Emmett, Idaho, related the following reasons for
expanding the effort to a full campaign of events,
"The efforts to infringe upon our 2nd amendment rights to self defense are
continuous. Despite the clear lessons of history to the contrary, a constant hue and cry
for more and more infringement of our 2nd amendment rights is directed at our elected
representatives and the public in general.
It is time that we, the law abiding gun owners of this nation, embark on a campaign
that effectively counters this. One "event" is not enough, biased "media
coverage" of competing "events" and arguments does not effectively counter
the opposition. We must find a way to continually punctuate to our elected officials that
the 2nd amendment means exactly what it says ... "the right of the people to keep and
bear arms shall not be infringed", and that responsible firearms ownership and use
are one of the great traditions and hallmarks of American liberty, as well as one of the
reasons for our unprecedented peace and prosperity as a people. We abandon such a hallmark
and tradition at our peril, as history so pointedly demonstrates.
It is our belief, that the five annual events being planned by the "50 Million
Round March" represent a grass roots effort which will send a direct and unbridled
message from constituents to representatives without intervening media spin or emotional
distortion. It is our belief that such a grassroots effort, involving as many of the gun
owners of this nation as possible, is exactly what is required to overcome the continual
barrage of emotional and distorted claims of those clamoring for more "gun
control", and to inspire our elected officials to do their constitutional duty and
hold the 2nd amendment inviolate.
In addition, we believe that such a campaign can infuse additional growth and vigor
into the entire gun industry. This is good for America and will contribute to the safety
of our children. The more law abiding, responsible citizens who buy firearms and
ammunition, the safer and more secure our society becomes."
This effort, which officially holds it's first event on Father's Day, June 18th, has
garnered the support of a growing number of conservative web sites, gun shops, firing
ranges, and conservative media outlets.

Father's Day Event Planned -- "50
MILLION ROUND MARCH"
DATE (Emmett, Idaho ) -- May 19, 10 AM -- A nation-wide "50 Million Round
March" is being planned for Father's Day, June 18, 2000 in support of 2nd amendment
rights and to counter the "Million Mom March" which was held on Mother's Day.
This event will demonstrate to elected officials the resolve and the numbers of those
individuals committed to retaining their second amendment rights, and send a message to
cease enacting laws which infringe on this right for law abiding citizens.
Fathers and their families, friends and neighbors will get together at shooting ranges
all over the nation and simultaneously fire over 50 million shots, or "rounds",
as a statement in support of the right to keep and bear arms for all law abiding citizens.
"Range monitors" will be in place at each event to insure that proper firearm
safety is observed.
This effort will also include a letter-writing campaign to congressional
representatives, senators, governors and the President informing them of the participants'
attendance and their insistence that infringements on this constitutional right cease. As
a moment of the event, the participants will include either one of their used targets with their letters, or two spent cartridges in a mailer box
with their letters.
One of the organizers of this event, Jeff Head from Emmett, Idaho, related the
following reasons he got involved with such a grassroots event:
"The efforts to infringe upon our 2nd amendment rights to self defense have
been escalating in the recent months. A veritable chorus from political pundits and the
main stream media are trying to convince us that it would be "best for the
children" to further restrict firearm use and sales to honest, law-abiding citizens.
However, history is littered with the ashes of societies and peoples who have accepted
this unsubstantiated and historically inaccurate claim. Historically it is clear that it
would be "best for the children" for the people to remain armed. Responsible
firearm ownership and use are one of the great hallmarks for American liberty and our
unprecedented peace and prosperity as a people.
This event will safely discharge over 50,000,000 "rounds" from firearms in
the space of two hours without harm or injury to those taking part at any official
shooting range around the country. This in itself will send a powerful message regarding
firearm safety and responsible use by law abiding citizens.
So, on this Father's Day, and on every ensuing Father's Day, let us stand as father's
for family and liberty. Let us stand with our wives, brothers, sisters, children,
relatives and friends. Let us send 50 million rounds down range collectively at firing
ranges all over this nation to demonstrate our resolve and the true meaning of our 2nd
amendment rights."
The effort, which officially started on Tuesday, May 16th, had already garnered the
support of a number of conservative web sites, gun shops, firing ranges, and conservative
media outlets. In addition, the "50 Million Round March" web site has been
visited over 18,000 times in its first three days of operation.
